New Yorkers love their Shakespeare especially when it’s performed live in an outdoor park. And now there is another way to get your fill for free this summer.
The Classical Theatre of Harlem has teamed up with Yale Repertory Theatre to offer Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night at Marcus Garvey Park in East Harlem, an “Afrofuturistic” twist on the familiar classic from now until July 29th.
Every Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday in July, guests can enjoy seeing performances from 7-8:30 pm and on Fridays from 5:30-7:30 pm. Did we mention all shows are free?
