The High Line is one of New York City’s treasures. This outdoor urban park is located on a former railroad and spans 1.45-miles over the city. Between the lush greenery and the gorgeous city views, this is the place to be during the nice weather. But have you ever wondered how this park came to be?
Learn more about its exciting history during a free seated conversation and optional walk on July 13th. From 10:30 am to 12 pm, hear about the park’s history and landscape told by friendly and knowledgeable guides.
Later, enjoy a peaceful 15-minute stroll along the High Line as you take in the impressive sights all around you with like-minded community members. Admission is free with registration.
If you can’t make it this time around, monthly cultural tours of the High Line will be back in September starting on the 14th.
